Germany-Argentina in Cape Town

In part of a long string of incredible good fortune, I picked the right straw (or leaf with a hole in it) to go with Malusi to see Germany play Argentina in a quarter-final match in Cape Town. So deluxe.

Argentina got worked 4-0 like a bunch of rookies, but it was still a great game to see.
View from our seats. We missed the first goal, because we are idiots and are unable to get anywhere on time. All three of the other goals happened at the other end of the field, but we could see enough.
Lionel Messi. Wasn't really able to do too much in the tournament, but he's still an amazingly talented player and it's incredible to watch him.
Diego Maradona. What a character. We had a cocaine party with him after the match (completely untrue).
Dave the Optimist was there. He found the bright side.
